Are you ready? Get set, let’s go!

Our annual United Way of San Joaquin County Employee Giving at the Workplace Campaign started on July 1, 2016.

Please contact our United Way Operations Director, Donna Ng, at (209) 469-6980 to schedule your company’s Employee Giving at the Workplace Campaign as soon as possible.

We are ready right now to provide your employees with all of the printed materials needed to help them give from their hearts.  We will bring pledge forms and our annual United Way community impact brochures which are full of valuable examples of who needs help and how together, we can provide life changing and sometimes life saving help.

We will also provide a non-profit agency speaker who will educate your staff about their agency’s mission as well as share a testimony that will be sure to touch the hearts of all participants.

Thank You for helping United Way improve lives throughout San Joaquin County.

God Bless,

2nd Annual Tru-Hope Youth Summit

Today’s Youth is our Nation’s most valuable resource and largest spending demographic.

The goal of the United Way of San Joaquin County’s Tru-Hope Summit, being held all day at the Stockton Arena on October 24, 2016, is to revive the HOPE in our youth by focusing on practical and motivational strategies to stay safe and focused as they navigate their ever changing environment on their journey to greatness.

The day encourages our youth to never lose hope, make good choices and to know anything is possible.

The participants enjoy the opportunity to be educated while being entertained in a format also known as “EDU-TAINMENT”.

Celebrate their loyalty

On April 3, 2016 our United Way of San Joaquin County began to celebrate several milestones starting with recognizing two of our most loyal and tenured employees.

I’m very proud to share with you that Angie McKinney has marked her 50th anniversary with our United Way as she continues to lead the distribution of hundreds of thousands of dollars designated to Community Impact.  Angie continues to lead hundreds of volunteers as they work long and hard to select dozens of our local non-profit agencies to be funded with Community Impact dollars so they can have more resources available to improve even more lives.

We are blessed to have Donna Ng as our Director of Operations celebrate her 40th anniversary of serving our community’s most needy.  Donna has always been instrumental in organizing and implementing the Annual Employee Giving at the Work Place Campaign.  Donna is the go to person at United Way of San Joaquin County and is known for her team work and her commitment to always do the right thing.

Our United Way and our community is very fortunate to have the time and talent these two wonderful people provide us every day.

If you take Angie’s 50 years and Donna’s 40 years of employment, that adds up to 90 years of community service and that is a huge coincidence as our United Way of San Joaquin County has started celebrating its 90th anniversary as of April 3rd 2016.  Please honor these great ladies by making a SPECIAL ONE TIME DONATION in their name to the United Way of San Joaquin County.

Thank you and God Bless,

Andy Prokop, “A.P.”
