These councils partner with United Way to rally support from local businesses and individuals, running workplace campaigns, inspiring corporate contributions, and hosting special events. Their efforts ensure that the funds raised are used where they matter most—right here in our communities.

A VOICE FOR LOCAL IMPACT

Community Councils ensure their residents play an active role in deciding where funds are allocated. United Way provides an annual budget to each active council, empowering members to distribute grants to nonprofit agencies that serve their communities. By carefully reviewing grant requests and agency reports, councils maximize the positive impact of every dollar raised.
