Denise Hernandez is a proud first-generation college graduate who holds degrees in Sociology and Chicano/a/x Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Born and raised in Stockton, she graduated from McNair High School with a strong commitment to her community. Denise is passionate about working with nonprofits, having spent much of her time in high school and college volunteering for various organizations. Her dedication to community work is fueled by firsthand experience witnessing the struggles and barriers faced by marginalized communities. Driven to uplift others, she aims to make a positive impact in the lives of those around her. With a belief in the power of education and advocacy, Denise is excited to bring her skills and experiences to the team, working collaboratively to foster positive impacts within the community!
