Volunteers are the lifeblood of any nonprofit and UWSJC is no exception. In 2018, Andy's Angels, our local volunteer team, was formed. The group is named after our beloved CEO and President of 20 years, Andy Prokop, who retired last year. This newly formed volunteer auxiliary has been instrumental in helping us out in the community with events, special requests of support, and being our UWSJC ambassadors. They are a magical extension of our staff.
Over auxiliary of 20 women and men work collectively to help us advance our mission of helping improve the lives of families in San Joaquin County. Led by Janice Marengo and Sharon Benninger this team has raised funds for our nonprofit partners and been a beacon of joy and light in directing our work and being our “angels” of support. We anticipate expanding the angel’s auxiliary as an extension of our team to groom and grow future helping hands.
